My name is Scott Harra, and I am a REALTOR® with Long Realty serving Tucson, Marana, Dove Mountain, and surrounding Southern Arizona communities.
As a transplant from the Pacific Northwest, I have grown to love the Sonoran Desert and everything that makes this region unique. The diversity of vegetation and wildlife continues to fascinate me, while the majestic mountain views and incredible sunsets provide a never-ending scenic journey. As an avid golfer, I also appreciate the area's year-round sunshine and outstanding golf opportunities.
My journey to Tucson began when my daughter encouraged me to make the move during the COVID pandemic. I am grateful she did. Tucson quickly became home, and I have embraced both the beauty of the region and the welcoming spirit of the community.
Not long after relocating, I decided to pursue a career in real estate. It was an opportunity I could not pass up. Real estate had long been a personal interest of mine, and whenever I traveled, I found myself exploring local housing markets and studying the differences in home styles, neighborhoods, and property values across the country. Turning that lifelong interest into a profession has allowed me to help others achieve their real estate goals while sharing my enthusiasm for Southern Arizona.
For more than three years, I have helped buyers and sellers navigate the often-complex real estate process by breaking it down into understandable language, negotiating through challenges, and connecting clients with trusted vendors who help keep transactions moving smoothly. I specialize in active adult communities, relocation, and golf community properties throughout the Tucson area.
Having personally relocated to Southern Arizona and having helped numerous clients move here from out of state, I understand the unique questions and challenges that often accompany a relocation. I enjoy helping newcomers learn about the area's communities, lifestyle options, and housing opportunities so they can confidently choose the neighborhood that best fits their goals.
I hold the Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designations, providing additional expertise in property pricing strategies and the unique needs of older adults making housing transitions. I am particularly knowledgeable about Tucson-area active adult communities and enjoy helping clients explore the many lifestyle opportunities these communities offer.
As an avid golfer, I also have a special appreciation for Southern Arizona's golf communities and the lifestyle they provide. Whether a client is looking for a retirement destination, a golf community home, or a place to enjoy Arizona's outdoor lifestyle, I enjoy helping them find the right fit.
Clients appreciate my hands-on approach and personal attention throughout the buying and selling process. I intentionally work with a limited number of clients at a time so I can remain accessible, answer questions promptly, and provide the level of service and attention each client deserves.
I am also actively involved in Heritage Highlands at Dove Mountain, where I serve in a variety of volunteer roles. Being engaged in the community helps me stay connected to the people and neighborhoods that make Southern Arizona such a wonderful place to live.
